Event Oct 10th in Ohio. How tomorrow's tech innovations are affected by today's change in govt

Location

Hilton at Polaris
8700 Lyra Drive
Columbus, OH, 43240

In support of Senator Obama, national technology leaders Reid Hoffman (founder of LinkedIn) and Judy Estrin (serial entrepreneur and author of Closing the Innovation Gap) spoke in Columbus Ohio, followed immediately by Michael Nelson, Advisor to the Obama Campaign.

The full event was recorded and is available online.  For information about the event, check out Angela Siefer's blog post about the event.

With over 200 in the audience, Estrin and Hoffman drew upon their experiences to define not only the necessity of technology innovation for job creation but the importance of leadership and open networks within the tech field.

The event was completely volunteer coordinated.  They recognized the value of gathering the local tech community to discuss the possibilities of furthering innovation in Ohio if the right policies, support and encouragement were in place.
