This mission of this website is to help Barack Obama become the next President of the United States by convincing visitors how much better he is compared to John McCain on all things related to technology.
This site is created and supported by people involved in technology fields in the broadest sense. These are people working directly in technology, media and telecommunications fields, but also in fields like energy and health care that are greatly impacted by technology. Participants include people working at all levels of these fields, from designers, engineers, programmers, new media specialists, and everyone involved in making our digital culture tick to some of the top innovators, entrepreneurs and investors creating the future. We all understand how important it is to have a President and an administration that deeply understands technology and will leverage its full potential.

But you don’t have to be a fulltime professional to get involved in this community. All are welcome who appreciate technology’s role in driving innovation and growth in the economy, or in making our government and society more participatory and democratized. TechForObama is not affiliated with barackobama.com or produced by Obama for America, but is an independent effort.
The ultimate audience for this website is American voters trying to understand the differences between the two candidates and to learn more about why they should vote for Obama. On any topic or issue related to technology, media, telecommunications, this is the website for you.
